Nipissing University and the three academic faculties provide many supports to assist you in starting your teaching career.

To know more about the type of services offered through your Faculty, contact your Department Chair, Program Coordinator, Director or Dean’s Office.

Questions about curriculum development can be directed to the Assistant Registrar, Curriculum & Advising (Office of the Registrar).  Assistance is provided with:

  • Making changes to existing curriculum, creating new courses, new programs, etc.
  • Reviewing new course submissions requests, as well as all course changes
  • Interpretation and administration of curriculum and academic policy​

University Technology Services is available to provide advanced support for the Nipissing University community, specializing in Blackboard, as well as the integration of technology in classrooms and work scenarios.

In addition, the iTeach Mobile Learning Program helps faculty and students in the Schulich School of Education integrate technology into their teaching practice.

The staff of the Harris Learning Library are available to help with the integration of library materials into courses.
